GlobeAir flights landed at 180 airports last month, an increase of 7.1%.
European very light jet operator GlobeAir says 42% of its flights last month were impacted by air traffic control slots due to summer airspace congestion and weather conditions, including thunderstorms and lightning.
GlobeAir CEO Bernhard Fragner posted on LinkedIn, “Despite these daily challenges and disruptions, our (team) excelled by increasing the number of destinations served, showcasing our adaptability and extensive reach, which clearly show the benefits of business aviation.”
He said the Citation Mustang operator completed 953 flights in June, an 11.9% year-over-year drop.
The four-seat jets carried 1,204 passengers, an 11.5% decline.
However, the number of destinations increased 7.1% to 180 airports.

Total distance was 532,434 kilometers flown, an 11.2% drop compared to 2023.
